Πολλες ωρες αλλα για λιγα γουστα.Προσωπικα μου αρεσει αυτο το πορτοκαλι 206 και αυτο το γαλαζιο 306.Αν προσεξετε και τα δυο εχουν διακριτικα φουσκωματα στα φτερα πραγμα που δεν ξερω αν ταιριαζει στο 307 μου.

αυτό το κομμάτι κάτω από τον προφυλακτήρα θέλω να βάλω και εγώ μια και το χαμηλώνει χωρίς να αλλοιώνει την εμφάνιση του αλλα μου ζητούσαν 240ε αβαφο!!!

ok, the time has come to start my project!
i cant find the photos of my car with totally standard interior, however at the moment it has a GTi interior, GTi dash bits and metal monkey dials and plate (free!! bigups to MM!)

this week it has had its lil steelies taken off as its going to have some new stoppers put on it, these are off a Gti180 with 16 miles on the clock! altho the pads and discs are new! at the moment money alowing i want to get some nicer discs than standard.
cos if the size of the new discs i have HAD to put alloys on it or the discs and calipers would of fouled the wheels!

the car is going to a little holiday for a few weeks very imminently, so i have fitted my clear brake light (using crimps so it can be removed later come respray time!)
and fitted my rear lights, to save me having to take 2 sets to the bodyshop, also as i have to put my fog light into the right cluster as i wont pass an MOT without one and my aim is to be 100% legal!

when it goes in soon the first job is to get my brakes put on the front, and my beam fitted to the rear(discs all round woohoo!)(i hate well modifyed motors that have drums, it looks so base model like!)i also have goodridge braided brakelines to go on all round!;

(the discs being rust on the rear is another reason to get them replaced!)
then once that is done before any bodywork is done i am having my new alternator fitted, it came off a 406Hdi and is "supposed" to be a direct fit... we shall see!! it puts out as standard 120a, my current one is 90a but it has been refurbished and rewound so hopefully will produce nearer 150a then a split charge will be set up to a boot battery, and then the car goes on another little holiday to a well known suspension company, who are going to totally rebuild my beam, and fronts, and give me something which to my knowledge has never been done properly- world wide!!

i needed to moniter the air system, its a top setup so it had to be top gauges....and i really didnt like rayvens 42mm unlit white needle gauges!
dakota are the best gauges in the world! so i just spent £420 on 2 gauges, 5 high pressure sender units (400psi) 10 1/4" to 4mm adapters and 1 UPS next day delivery USA to UK!
FOUR HUNDER QUID FOR 10 CM OF GAUGE!!!!
i think i need my head checked!

so having made good progress and poor dave working to quite tight deadlines we came back from the paris tuning show, arrived at waterloo, got a lift to hybrid and collected me car at about 1030 at night!
the grill was not quite finished, so had to be taken out for transit, but the main points (all welding and fabrication) were done.
i took the car home and got 5 hours sleep then left for france(see this little story-http://www.x2c-uk.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6851 )
i forgot to take pics of the strubrace and the neat mods to get it to fit.
and i forgot to take pics of my modifyed bonnet mech to open it perfectly even tho its extended right down.
slight issues at eurostar security... the main on being me having never opened the bonnet and not knowing the trick to do it!
also they were worried about my airtank and coulndt quite concieve the idea of bus like suspension!
got on the train and started to relax(panic) and think about the journey ahead... i had everything i needed... apart from a GB sticker- great and invitation to be pulled lol, got a mini one at the first service station tho!

had a good look around EA's showroom, and had the grand tour of the factory, they used to employs 34 people!!! but there was a few problems with so many and their quality suffered so now there is 12 employees plus jean-lu gaugher who owns it all.
its mad, from concept drawings to moulding cars to prototype bumpers to makeing moulds and then producing the full kits, to fitting and building project cars..!

then we went to look at the workshop and factory and saw some new products in the making, but i have been asked to keep schtum!

theres two poster lifts one in front of the camera and one to the right just out of pic (had a wip on it)
infront of the poster in the picture is a pit and to the right is an oven drying thing for the fibreglass moulds
behind the camera is a big workspace big enough to park 4 cars side by side
upstairs is all the stocked bumpers, altho most are made to order.
and at the end of that workshop is a door with those bits of plastic hanging down to keep the fumes in and the dust out.

the begining of my bumper- they have taken a mould of a phase 2 306 to get my recess just nice... then they are going to build the frame of my bumper and then frame in the modifey bits which are all made out of mini moulds taken off a finished impact bumper then put them all together!

Η δουλειά στο καπό και στο πορτμπαγκαζ είναι ΕΚΠΛΗΚΤΙΚΗ!!!
Τα φουσκώματα εεεε τρώγονται...
Αλλά οι προφυλακτήρες είναι χάλια  ... (με εξαίρεση την θέση για πίσω πινακίδα)

η δουλεια φαινεται αρκετα "επαγκελματικη" !
μου λετε ποιος Ελληνας "κατασκευαστης" τετοιων εργασιων μπορει να σταθει απεναντι τους;
εδω ολα γινονται στο αρπα-κολα.
η συγκεκριμενη δουλεια εχει μεταμορφωσει το αμαξι σε ολους του τομεις!
φυσικα ποιος ξερει ποσο πηγε το μαλι; αλλα τουλαχιστον φαινεται οτι ειναι μια δουλεια που θα αντεξει.
αντιθετα εδω πας στον κυριο ταδε και ζητας ενα bodykit και μολις πας να στο τοποθετησουν βλεπεις οτι δεν ταιριαζει η οτι δεν κουμπωνει ή οτι περισσευει και αμα πας να πεις και τιποτα βρισκεις και το μπελα σου.
ειδα τις προαλλες σε 206 πλαινα μαρσπιε (skirts) τα οποια ειχα το μαυρο τους το χαλι και απο φινιρισμα αστο! το χειροτερο: δεν "τελειωναν" πανω στη λαμαριανα αλλα περισσευαν 1,5 ποντο τουλαχ. στα 2 φτερα χαμηλα 
και ο αμηρος οδηγος ποιος ξερει ποσο τα πληρωσε |
