Έχω ένα σοβαρό πρόβλημα για το αυτοκίνητό μου.
το αυτοκίνητό μου στο Peugeot 106 GTI 1600 16v 1998.
μηχανικός μου λέει:
μηχανή σας δεν είναι ευρωπαϊκή, μηχανή σας θα είναι Έλληνας! εγχειρίδιο και μηχανικό για την επισκευή του κινητήρα!

Παρακαλώ μπορείτε να με βοηθήσετε;
Πού μπορώ να βρω τεχνικά μηχανή δεδομένα;
είναι χαραγμένο τον κωδικό του κινητήρα:

I dont think there is any difference in the engine.The identification NFX is the same everyhere....Could you ask your mechanic to be more specific about the problem he has and you about the overall problem tha you have with your car......

you have the specifications of the engine? Bore and stroke, the size of the connecting rods, pistons, crankshaft, etc.?

if you have these specifications, you will solve the problems.

The JP4 pistons are not flat,they have a small lump to raise the compression ratio.
The J4 pistons are flat with cut outs only for the induction valves.

If you are planning to rebuild your engine,better don't do it at all...
Swap the engine block with a JP4 one and use most parts of your J4 engine.

It is a rather common change and the power gains are as big as using mild camshafts in a J4 engine.

through your help I understand that the engine NFX (TU5J4) is identical in Italy and Greece!
I went to peugeot authorized mechanic and did a search using the engine code.
Result:
The engine is original!

the mistake was made by the seller of spare parts.
the seller of spare parts sold me parts of another engine.
The seller of spare parts give back the money to me.
I'm making a more powerful engine With Wiseco parts and other brands
