To be honest this was the hardest part of the whole conversion but we are still not complete with the drilling and tapping as the block also needs to be done as the JP4 comes with a remote type oil filter (mine did not come with this part so I havent got a picture) and the oil return hole needs to be blocked up (as the J4 doesnt use this) to do this you need to have the oil sump off as you need to catch the swarf that drops through the hole (otherwise it will be all in your crankcase which obviously isnt good) I found a magnet very helpfull with this I also covered the crank with a rag as best as I could. |
